Need a LIVE LINK?!
- A LIVE link is a personalized link created just for your appointment. We send it before your appointment so you can share it with friends and family who are absent. They will be able to watch (not hear) and experience your visit from nearly anywhere in the world on nearly any device. It is a complimentary feature of your visit. All you need to do is request a link, and we will send it to you before your visit. The video and link are only present during your session unless you have purchased the video or it is included in a package you have chosen.

Early 7-10 Weeks
- We ask that you have a full bladder when you arrive at your appointment. For those who aren't sure of their due date, we can't always promise what will be visible in your scan. Before 7 weeks, it can be difficult to see the baby without performing a vaginal scan, and we only offer abdominal (or on the belly). So, a full bladder is essential for obtaining the best possible images of your baby.

- For Mommies coming in for an early gender reveal (14+ weeks), we recommend drinking cold juice, ice water, a smoothie, or a milkshake about 15-20 minutes before your ultrasound to help wake up your baby. We highly recommend doing your scan/blood test at least 1 week before a gender reveal party or event. In some cases, the baby may be shy, and a return visit may be necessary to determine the baby's gender.

- We ask moms to drink twice as much water 1-2 weeks before their appointment (if you have time). This helps achieve the best possible images of your baby. Sound waves need to travel through fluid. More fluid in front of the baby’s face means a better quality picture. We also recommend drinking some cold juice, milkshake, or smoothie. (If you aren't doing sugar sipping, ice water on the way to your appointment is also great) about 15-20 minutes prior to your ultrasound, to help wake up your baby. Below is an example of Why Water Matters!
- But DON'T worry, typically most moms have good fluid, and great images are captured.
- ***Singleton pregnancies are recommended to come at 26-32 weeks, but can be attempted at any time in pregnancy.
- ***Twin pregnancies are recommended to come at 23-28 weeks, but can be attempted at any time in pregnancy.

HYDRATE
Being well-hydrated is critical for 4D ultrasound image quality because it increases amniotic fluid volume and clears it, which acts as a "window" for ultrasound waves. Amniotic fluid volume improves "sound" transmission, creating sharper, more detailed, and brighter images of your baby rather than cloudy or shadow-heavy pictures.
BE COMFY
Wear comfy clothing. Nothing tight or restrictive. Please wear shorts and underwear with dresses and skirts. You're always welcome to come in your PJs.
EAT / DRINK
Make sure you have eaten and hydrated before your visit. A Milkshake or Smoothie is a great way to keep the baby wiggly and awake. 15-20 Min before your visit. DON'T do Sugar? Try ICE Water Instead.
